Multec Carbon was specially developed for the best printability and, above all, the lowest possible shrinkage .

  • Modulus of elasticity: 11500MPa
  • 15% fiber content


Multec Carbon consists of polyamide optimized for 3D printing and has a carbon fiber content of 15%. This means that very resilient pressure parts are possible which, in addition to a yield stress of 130MPa, also offer an excellent modulus of elasticity of 11500MPa.

Of course, like all our plastics, this filament is optimized for the best printability and adheres to our permanent printing plate, with very large printed parts best supported by the water-soluble Magigoo PA - 3D adhesive .


Heat-resistant, high-strength and best print quality

The polyamide scores not only with its high strength but also with a very good heat resistance of 90°C according to (HDT A) ISO 75.

It is optimized for the lowest tendency to shrink and has minimal water absorption of <0.3%, making it an excellent plastic for technically demanding components.

 

However, the use of hardened nozzles is important for processing, since the fiber content otherwise leads to high nozzle wear.
