Multec high-speed print head with 4-fold volume flow, nozzle sizes up to 2mm
Our development of the high-performance, extremely fast-printing new nozzle is already showing a reduction in printing time to around 1/4 of the previous printing time. In the example, a 70 cm high component is printed in around 10 hours, compared to a smaller component with conventional nozzles in over 30 hours.
Since the Multec print head has 4 nozzles, the high-flow hotend can of course also produce short print times with good surfaces in combination with fine nozzles.
Series production with Highspeed Multirap M800: 23kg in 5 working days
On behalf of a customer, a series production of 32 large-volume, waterproof components was manufactured at Multec within a very short time:
- Nozzle size 1.4mm
- Layer height 0.5mm
- total 23kg
Printing time reduction by 75% with high-strength infill and fine surface through nozzle combination
The patented 4-fold print head shows the enormous time and money-saving potential when printing with 2 different nozzle sizes and a high volume flow.
By using a large nozzle size for the infill, the printing time in the infill area can be reduced from 35 to 7 minutes.
The filling with a large, solid layer width increases the strength enormously. This creates a real, highly resilient inner structure with minimal printing time.
